UMAMI GRANOLA Now Available at Mulberry Market in Nolita

First Cantonese breakfast granola reaches its second Manhattan retailer

Last updated: October 9, 2026

NEW YORK, NY, October 9, 2026. UMAMI GRANOLA, the first Cantonese breakfast granola, is now available on shelves at Mulberry Market in Nolita, New York City, its second Manhattan retailer. The brand's two blends, Dau-Si-Do and Dragon-Eyed Wolf, are on the shelves at the corner of Prince and Mulberry.

The placement arrives as umami consumer engagement rose 79% year over year in 2026, according to Griffith Foods' 2026 Food and Flavor Outlook.

Dau-Si-Do is a savory umami blend that carries fermented black soybeans (dau-si), hoisin, and fresh ginger from Cantonese dim sum tradition. Its name joins dau-si with the do-si-do dance move.

Dragon-Eyed Wolf is a floral sweetness blend that carries goji berries, longan, and condensed milk from Cantonese tong sui tradition. Longan translates from Cantonese as "dragon eye," and goji berries are traditionally called wolfberries.

"Mulberry Street has always been a street people come to for food, and we are honored to have our Cantonese blends on a shelf there," said Cindy Lam, Founder of UMAMI GRANOLA.

UMAMI GRANOLA can be found in-store at Mulberry Market, 251 Mulberry Street, New York, NY.
